Our Staff

Chad came to be pastor at First Baptist in July, 2009. He is originally from Paducah, Kentucky. He grew up around the family restaurant business, but sensed a leading towards ministry at a young age. After graduating high school, he earned a Bachelor in Pastoral Ministries from Georgetown College.

While in college Chad had the opportunity to serve in several ministry positions. He interned at churches in Paducah and Frankfort, Kentucky. He was also an interim youth pastor in Paducah and a youth pastor in Falmouth, Kentucky. After graduating college in Kentucky, Chad moved to Texas to pursue a Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University.

While at Truett, Chad was in various student ministries from summer camp ministries, to ministry with Baylor University students. From Truett, Chad moved to North Africa to spend two years working as a missionary.

He has a heart for local church ministry and the opportunity that the church has to impact the world – both locally and globally – with the love of Christ.
