Missions Days

Jun 21st, 2010 by Pastor | 0

I mentioned something very important Sunday morning.  I shared with you some information about all of the events Whitney Prewitt has been planning.  She has put alot of work into finding places that we can do ministry as a church this summer.  There is a week long event to Rushville, Missouri.  But there are also several one day options.

I know it is hard to take a week away from work.  )I’m dealing with that stress right now as I prepare for Haiti.)  However, one day can be easier.  I hope that this summer you will be willing to take one day.  Join in on one of the many events that are planned.  There is an option for every type of person and gifting.  Find an option that fits you and join in as we continue to be a church committed to missions.

Check the table in the foyer or talk to Whitney for more information.

Restored stained glass windows from old church installed.

Feb 21st, 2010 by Webmaster | 1

Anyone that has been to the church in the last few days has probably noticed that the 3 stained glass windows that were being renovated from the old church building were finally delivered and installed in their places in the foyer and sanctuary. For those that have not yet been able to see them, these pictures will give you an idea what you have missed. Sorry for the poor quality pictures on the Sanctuary pieces but my “photographer” forgot to make sure the flash was on better pictures will be forthcoming. Pictures alone could not do them justice anyway, so the first chance you get, go check them out, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
